Solicitations and contracts must include required language to identify GenAI through disclosure by the Bidder / Offeror / Contractor. No changes are permitted to the IT General Provisions, the GenAI Special Provisions, or to any other state standard terms and conditions without prior approval of the State.

GenAI solicitation language

Refer to the State Contracting Manual (SCM) section 2304.2 and State Administrative Manual (SAM) section 4986.9 for the required solicitation language related to GenAI.

GenAI contract language

Required contract language related to GenAI has been incorporated into the IT General Provisions.

GenAI Special Provisions

GenAI Special Provisions are required to be part of a contract when a Generative AI Risk Assessment (SIMM 5305-F) and a CDT GenAI consultation indicate moderate or high risk GenAI.
