9. Follow procurement process

With your risk assessment complete, you’re ready to begin procurement.

  1. Submit a Case via the New Technology Consultation and Assessment request, in the CDT IT Service Portal.
  2. Check if your purchase is exempt from from GenAI procurement procedures.
  3. If not, review the GenAI procurement process.
  4. Check with Labor Relations if the purchase will require any notice and/or bargaining with union(s) prior to implementation.
  5. If your risk level was moderate or high, include the GenAI disclosure and special provisions in your procurement.
  6. Follow the GenAI requirements for evaluation and selection.
