This section shows the recommended phases of GenAI training based on your role. It also includes an overview of the training series CalHR developed to meet the state workforce’s various needs in regard to GenAI.

Start with training modules. Select the ones that fit the work you do.
If you’re a purchasing official, take the procurement GenAI training from the California Procurement and Contracting Academy (CalPCA). It covers identifying GenAI purchases, understanding the different levels of risks associated, and navigating GenAI purchase process flows.
